A pop-up exhibition of works by Stefan Holzmüller and Morgane Salmon in Megève
Presented across Magic Megève, Megève Bois and the Norki boutique in the centre of Megève, Inner Garden brings together the ceramic worlds of Morgane Salmon and Stefan Holzmüller. Developed in collaboration with Galerie Ritsch-Fisch · SOLTI, whose programme is dedicated to Art Brut and singular artistic practices, the exhibition unfolds across all three locations. At Megève Bois, a selection of previously unseen works is presented throughout the hotel rooms, allowing guests and visitors to encounter the exhibition as part of their stay.
The exhibition places two generations and two distinct artistic voices in dialogue. Morgane Salmon’s vibrant, nature-inspired sculptures are shown alongside the singular ceramic universe of Stefan Holzmüller (1949–2010). Salmon’s richly detailed works reinterpret botanical and animal forms through colour, ornament and imagination, while Holzmüller’s intricate constructions evoke imaginary architectures, enigmatic creatures and dreamlike landscapes. Though their visual languages are markedly different, both artists approach clay as a space for experimentation and invention.
To mark the opening, Magic Megève and Megève Bois welcomed collectors, curators and friends for an intimate brunch last Sunday. With Morgane Salmon present for the occasion, guests met the artist, discovered the works and explored Magic Megève’s collection of contemporary art and design throughout the property, before continuing their conversations over brunch in the Magic Megève garden.
Inner Garden remains on view at Magic Megève and Megève Bois until December 2026.
